About Me

Matthew Edward is an award-winning photographer and retoucher. He started out in the early 90’s as a 3D animator and Flame effects artist on SGI platform. Since then he has continued to develop his skills in technology applied art.

In the mid 90’s, he explored digital retouching and started a studio which won multiple international awards for digital retouching. In the late 90’s, he started his journey moving from the backend as a retoucher to becoming a photographer.

In year 2000, he won almost every major photography award in the Asian Advertising industry. During his journey as a photographer and retoucher he claimed the title of Photocrafter. A Photocrafter creates perfect images by capturing and crafting them.

In 2003, he entered another phase of his career when he directed his first TV commercial. His clientele over the years include some of the top brands with global presence such as Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Northwest Airlines, Mercedes, BMW, Volvo VW, Seat, MasterCard, American Express, Motorola, Nokia, Oppo, China Mobile, Sprite, Coca-Cola, Shangri-La Hotel, Pan Pacific Hotel Asia, Langham Hotel, Henderson Land, Ritz-Carlton Dubai, Ben & Jerry, HSBC, DBH, Carlsberg, AIG, Hong Kong Land, Levi’s, Mont Blanc, Arktivate Organic Fertiliser and many more…
